Candy Muscari-Erdos
I began working with dogs at the young age of seven. Training dogs naturally just came easy to me. Neighbors would often ask me to train their dogs. I started working with St Cloud K-9 Unit as an assistant while attending college.
In 2002, I moved to Colorado and began working at an animal hospital and then worked as an Animal Welfare Officer. Returning to my love of training dogs, I decided to continue my education and get my certifications in dog training and service dog training. I attended a school in Denver, CO and I am now Certified in Basic Obedience Dog Training, Certified Advanced Dog Training. I am also recognized by National Service Dog Registry of America as a Certified Service Dog Trainer, and Service Animal Registry of America as a service dog trainer. I am an approved AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator (CGC) and I am currently working towards obtaining my National Pet Dog Trainer Certification.
I continue to work with service dogs and own my own company, making professional service dog vests. We are happy to say that we now have dogs performing service work in Thailand. The National Psychiatric Service Dog Organization has approved me as their service dog vest provider. Other companies that recognize me as their provider are Noelle’s Dogs Four Hope, Will Work for Peanuts, and Mountain High Working Service Dogs.
I enjoy the great outdoors, wake boarding, photography, designing new equipment for service dogs, sewing and quilting. I work hand in hand with my husband, Zoltan Erdos, training dogs and running the company, D’Artagnan Enterprises LLC, which is named after our first service dog, D’Artagnan.
I have developed several programs, each designed to achieve specific results. My approach is not one size fits all. Some of our programs include:
