About the Trainer

                                Candy Muscari-Erdos
                   CEO / Director of Training

I began working with dogs at the young age of seven. Training dogs naturally just came easy to me. Neighbors would often ask me to train their dogs. I started working with St Cloud K-9 Unit as an assistant while attending college.

In 2002, I moved to Colorado and began working at an animal hospital and then worked as an Animal Welfare Officer. Returning to my love of training dogs, I decided to continue my education and get my certifications in dog training and service dog training. I attended a school in Denver, CO and I am now certified as a Basic Obedience Dog Trainer & Certified Advanced Dog Trainer. I am also recognized by the National Service Dog Registry of America as a Certified Service Dog Trainer, and Service Animal Registry of America as a Service Dog Trainer. I am an approved AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator (CGC) and I am currently working towards obtaining my National Pet Dog Trainer Certification.

I continue to work with service dogs and own my own company, and make service dog vests for our Military Veterans. I am a firm believer that dogs must be well socialized both with humans and other animals before the dog can continue or begin specialty training for service work. I enjoy the challenge of finding the right dog to fit the new owner/handler. My training consist of real world situations and applications using the language that dogs understand and respond to.

I enjoy the great outdoors, wake boarding, photography, designing new equipment for service dogs, sewing and quilting. I work hand in hand with my husband, Zoltan Erdos,  and adoptive sister,Cyndy Perdue, training dogs and running the company, D’Artagnan Enterprises LLC. The company is named after our first service dog, D’Artagnan.

January 2013: Candy has been working with some of her local breeders to help them with training dogs.

Feb 1, 2000 - Aug 12, 2010

Candy is comfortable working with difficult breeds. Candy owns and has owned several German Shepherds.

I have developed several programs, each designed to achieve specific results. My approach is not one size fits all because not all dogs respond the same to the "Cookie Cutter" training.

 Some of our  programs include:

  • Off Leash Obedience
  • Standard Obedience Training
  • Advanced Obedience Training
  • Behavior Modification
  • Behavior Management
  • Service Dog Testing and Training

We have several AKC CGC evaluators on staff.
